Franklin won twice last week in Navasota to take the best 2-of-3 series from Caldwell 11-6, 17-7.
On Thursday, the Lady Hornets faced off against both the district champs of District 2-3A, the Lady Lions of Franklin, and the weather. Rain showers were a constant during this game and proved to make things difficult for the pitchers and the defense of both teams.
