The Caldwell freshman volleyball team placed second at the Rockdale Tournament earlier in the season.
The Lady Hornets defeated Thorndale in two sets, 25-13, 25-18 and Holland in two sets 25-
15, 25-20 before losing to Thrall in a nail-biter championship 27-25, 28-26.
The freshmen also beat Madisonville at home last Tuesday night in three sets 20-25, 25-21, 15-13.
