    Hornets fall to Navasota in live half of scrimmage

    The Caldwell Hornets scored on a TD pass in the live half portion of their Thursday, Aug. 18, home scrimmage with Navasota but fell 30-6.

    The teams played to a scoreless tie in the regular scrimmage prior to the live half.

    Caldwell faced the Rattlers at home in their final scrimmage before opening the season this Friday at Groesbeck.
