The Caldwell Hornets lost two road district games last week -- 5944 at Smithville on Jan. 17 and a controversial 68-66 loss at Austin Achieve.
The losses dropped the Hornets to 0-6 in district play.
Against Smithville, Caldwell kept it close in the first quarter, trailing just 10-8, but they surrendered 21 points in the second and trailed 31-17 at halftime.
