    The Caldwell Hornets kept their poise in a tight game, sinking some key free throws in the final minutes, to hold on for a 54-52 home win over Salado last Friday in Caldwell.

    The Hornets got their first win of the season and improved to 1-2 overall.

    Caldwell fell to Little River Academy 62-43 on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Little River.
