The Lady Hornet JV basketball team started the second round of district play this past week, hosting Smithville on Tuesday.
After a rough start in the first half, the Lady Hornets went into the locker room at halftime down 16-8.
The third quarter was a different story offensively as Caldwell came out, scoring 12 points, however Smithville also had a solid offensive quarter scoring 16 points.
