    THE CALDWELL JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL cross country team won the team title in the girls’ junior high division at the Lexington Cross Country Small School Showdown last weekend.

    The Caldwell girls varsity cross country team finished third at the Lexington Cross Country Small School Showdown with a score of 83 -- three points behind second place Giddings at 80.

    Thrall won the girls’ team title with a score of 53.

    Isabel Alcocer was the fastest Lady Hornet in the race, placing eighth with a time of 14:12.30.
