    Lady Hornets beat Florence, fall to Academy

    The Lady Hornets team went 1-1 this past week to end, defeating Florence on Monday in a previously postponed game 17-2 and losing to the district champion Academy Lady Bees on Tuesday 7-0.

    Last Friday’s final district game of the season was postponed due to rain and was played Monday, April 26, in Rockdale. (See next week’s issue for details about the game.)
