Lady Hornets beat Somerville, fall to Thorndale

    The Lady Hornets opened the 2022-2023 basketball season, going 1-1.

    Last Tuesday night, Caldwell beat Somerville on the road 4036.

    Caldwell senior Jae Mathis led all scorers with 25 points.

    Other Caldwell scorers were: Chassidy Rogers, four points; Makayla Jantzen, four points; JaKayla Kearney, three points; Ashlyn Kellum, two points; Amoree Denson, two points.
