The Lady Hornets began the 2026 season going 3-6 last week, including losses to two 2025 state champions Class 1A/2A Number 3 Leon and Class 1A/2A Number 2 Crawford.
And, Caldwell began the season as it has for many years: taking on Leon in the season opener.
The Lady Hornets hosted Leon this year, but fell short, losing 1325, 15-25, 15-25.
