The Lady Jays apparently wanted to start off the basketball season by making a statement -- and that statement was “we’re not scared of pre-season Top 10 teams” -- edging the Number 10 team in Class 1A Moulton at home 31-30.
Romani Johnson was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor and was 2-of-6 from the free throw line to lead Snook in scoring with eight points.
