Lady Yeguas win Round 1 of Burleson County Showdown
Last week, the Lady Yeguas won Round 1 of the Burleson County Volleyball Showdown, beating rival Snook at home in straight sets 25-23, 25-15, 25-12.
Somerville senior Emma Kovasovic led the Lady Yegua offense with nine kills, nine assists and two aces.
Halle Stevens and Abigail Flencher each had three aces to lead Somerville at the service line. Flencher also had nine assists in the win.
