Snook’s Cody Noriega placed first in the 242-pound weight class at last week’s Swamp Strength Invitational at Altair Rice.
He won with a total lift weight of 1,335 pounds -- 530 pounds in the squat, 320 in the bench press and 485 in the dead lift.
Noriega’s scored seven points for Snook, resulting in Snook finishing 10th in the team standings.
