GARRETT HYVL FIGHTS for extra yardage against Yorktown last Friday in Snook.
The Snook Bluejays rallied in the second and early third quarters but were unable to overcome Yorktown’s steady ground game in a 54-28 home loss last Friday.
The Bluejays fell to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in District 14-2A Division II, eliminating them from playoff contention.
Yorktown improved to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in the league to assure the fourth-place playoff slot.
