Last Saturday, girl powerlifters from Snook and Somerville competed at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) Region 2 Class 1A-2A Meet in Bosqueville.
The results were: * 181-pound weight class: Makenzie Moore, Snook, seventh, total weight of 685 pounds -- 290 pounds in the squat, 135 pounds in the bench press and 260 pounds in the dead lift.
