KARLA LARA was recently named to the District 25-2A All-District Honorable Mention Squad.
The Somerville junior high girls basketball team beat Snook 32-15.
Somerville’s V. Hernandez led all scorers with 14 points.
Other scorers for the Lady Yeguas were: J. Isom, eight points; E.Williams, four points; A. Reyna, four points; L.Ellis, one point; G. Griffenstein, one point.
As a team, Somerville pulled down 14 rebounds and had 14 steals and three assists.
