The Somerville Yeguas hit some key free throws late in the game and held on for a 50-47 road win over rival Snook.
After a time-out, Snook missed a 3-point attempt with 3 seconds remaining that would have tied the score and sent it into overtime.
The win kept Somerville in third place behind Mumford and Iola, and Snook finished the week with a 54-32 home win over Burton to hold down fourth place.
