The Yegua powerlifting team was edged out of the team title by host school Altair Rice at last week’s Swamp Strength 3.0 Meet.
Rice scored a total of 39 points to Somerville’s 38 for the top two team spots. Columbus was third in the team standings with 28 points.
Five Yeguas won their individual weight classes at the meet.
