Snook takes 2nd at North Zulch Tourney

The Snook Bluejays finished second last weekend at the North Zulch Tournament, going 3-1 with wins over Allen Academy, North Zulch and Bellville Faith Academy before losing to Alpha Omega Academy in the finals.

TIDE HAS TURNED Laughing up and down 6th Street in Austin after a 27-17 victory to make it 2-0 in the renewed rivalry the night after Thanksgiving, the Texas Longhorns were living in the moment with a little gin and juice after beating Texas A&M once again.

Somerville earns All-District honors

The Somerville Yeguas have placed five players on the All-District 13-2A first team offense and five on the first team defense, and junior Martin Espinoza was named Defensive Lineman of the Year.

Lady Hornets named TGCA Academic All-State

Four Lady Hornets were recently honored by the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) as Academic All-State recipients for its Academic All-State Class 4A Volleyball Team: Kaely Brown, Natalie Eastepp, Reese McManus and Molly Meadows.

Lady Jays win N. Zulch Tourney

The Lady Jays brought home the first place trophy from the North Zulch Tournament last weekend.Snook began with a 5433 win over Lingleville on Thursday.Dakota Kienow was the Lady Jays’ top scorer with 21 points.Freshman Jai’Nylah Curry added 10 points in the win.
