Lady Yeguas fall to Riesel 61-13

Last Tuesday, the Lady Yeguas traveled to Riesel, falling to the Lady Indians 61-13.Somerville coach Josh Vela said, “They were an experienced and very fundamentally sound team.”“We came out really flat and let them get off to a 23-2 lead after the first quarter and a 40-3 halftime lead.

Taylor controls second half in 76-43 win over CHS

The Caldwell Hornets struggled in the second half at Taylor on Nov. 24, as the Ducks hit some big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to pull away 73-46.The Hornets kept it competitive in the early going, trailing just 16-14 in the first quarter and 38-30 at halftime.

Lady Hornets hold on to edge out Lady Jays 42-41

After Snook was trailing by 10 -- 23-13 at the half, the Lady Jays rallied, but came up short, losing to the Lady Hornets 42-41.Ireland Morgan was the leading scorer for Caldwell with 14 points. She also had eight rebounds in the win.

Snook rolls in 62-40 win over Anderson

The Snook Bluejays improved to 3-1 with a 62-40 road win over Anderson-Shiro on Nov. 26.The Bluejays, capatalizing on a strong half-court, man defense that created turnovers, scored 26 points in transition (following turnovers).

Caldwell players earn All-District honors

Three members of the Caldwell Hornets football team were named to the 2025 All-District 11-4A first team offense and three members to the second team defense.The Hornets also placed four players on the honorable mention team and 21 players on the Academic All-District team.
