Caldwell players earn All-District honors

Caldwell’s Blane Garza was named District 224A Baseball Offensive Most Valuable Player (MVP), and Colby Maresh was named Pitcher of the Year in All-District balloting.Kyle Toney was also named the District Coach of the Year.

THE SOMERVILLE MACHINE PITCH TEAM went the entire season and tournament undefeated -- becoming Burleson County Little League Champions with a perfect 16-0 record. The team includes: Colt Knesek, Brantley Cunningham, Kaiden Holliday, Jonathan Howe, Caesyn Rodriguez, Emmanuel Mendoza, Kato Vela, Marcus Douglas, Jessie Perez, Matthew Corando, Cooper Neuendorff and Miller Poehl. The team is coached by Brett Knesek, Adam Cunningham and Keith Howe.
