Faust, Hildebrand, Muzny win in GOP primary, Rhodes wins constable
Gene Hermes was re-elected as Burleson County sheriff on Tuesday, March 5, in the Republican Primary, defeating Jake Sullivan by a 2,561-810 vote margin.
The race was one of five contested local races.
In the Precinct 1 commissioners race, Dwayne Faust was reelected with 585 votes, finishing ahead of James Baldwin with 160 votes and Randy Schoppe with 57 votes.
