Law officers make traffic stops for trucks leaking sand

    Burleson County sheriff ’s deputies and Caldwell police made several traffic stops on Saturday, Aug. 29, for truckers who were leaking sand from their loads onto State Highway 21 West. Burleson County Sheriff Bill Rios said motorists have complained recently about the issue, saying the sand causes a traffic hazard along the highway, and seven traffic stops were made.
