Burleson County is used to severe weather in January...but over five inches of snow? According to the National Weather Service, Sunday’s winter wonderland gave the county an official snowfall amount of 5.8 inches, ranking second on the county’s list of snowfall in a 24-hour span -- only behind 6 inches on Jan. 30, 1949.
