Driver killed after driving through closed RR crossing
The driver of an 18-wheel tractor trailer rig hauling railroad ties from the Koppers plant was killed on Friday, Sept. 13, when a BNSF train collided with the truck as he drove through a closed railroad crossing at County Road 423.
Anthony James Jones, 51, of Bryan was pronounced dead at 1:13 p.m. by Burleson County Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Robert Urbanosky.
