Snook takes 1st look at budget

The Snook City Council got its first look at the preliminary $1,172,607 budget for 2025-26 at their June 23 meeting to begin evaluating where cuts will be needed to balance it.The items were for discussion only, and no action was taken.

SISD raises pay for staff, teachers

When Somerville ISD teachers, administration and staff return to work for the 2025-2026 school year, they will receive a bump in their paychecks.During last week’s special June 24 meeting, the Somerville School Board approved raises for all district employees.
