Somerville Clinic permanently closed

HealthPoint has decided to permanently close the Somerville Clinic, citing low patient volume and difficulty finding a permanent healthcare provider.The HealthPoint Board of Directors made that decision at their Wednesday, May 21, meeting, said Terri Sabella, Chief Executive Officer at Health-Point.

Somerville Mayor Tommy Thompson said the process to hire an interim city administrator is still ongoing, and there is no specific timeline to fill the position.Thompson made those remarks on Monday, May 26, saying there would likely be no announcement this week.
