POSGCD board plans hearing on SLR permit

The Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District Board will hold a final public hearing on Tuesday, April 8, and consider a decision on a permit request by SLR (Sandow Lakes Ranch) Property I, LP, for two drilling and operating permits.

Fire burns house off CR 249

A fire burned down a home late Sunday afternoon, March 23, at 6131 County Road 249 near F.M. 166 in Tunis, but no injuries occurred.The cause of the blaze is unknown and is believed to be accidental, said Snook Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jon Collins.

Caldwell discusses Quinn Waters subdivision

The Caldwell City Council heard from representatives of the Quinn Waters subdivision, located off of County Road 105, regarding their suggested plan revisions changing lot sizes to 40-foot, 50foot and 60-foot-wide lots to make the lots more affordable.
