The following persons were sentenced in 21st Judicial District Court on Monday, Feb. 24, with District Judge John Winkelmann presiding.

Oil well fire contained at pad off F.M. 2000

An oil well fire erupting early Wednesday, March 5, at a Wildfire Energy site off F.M. 2000 was quickly extinguished by three area fire departments and contained to one tank on the site.There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is unknown, said Caldwell Fire Chief David Pevehouse.
