The Lady Hornets traveled to Madisonville on Thursday to begin their playoff run.
There, they met the challenge by Teague, defeating the Lady Lions in four sets 22-25, 25-10, 25-17, 25-18.
Head coach Jane Anne Giese said, “We started off a bit slow and compounded errors.”
“Playoffs are a different beast, and it takes some time to work through the nerves. Pressure is high and expectations are higher.”
