A celebration of life for Felix Luna, 70, of Caldwell, will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Felix was born on June 30, 1955, in Calvert.
He graduated in 1975.
He married his wife Janie on Dec. 4, 1976.
Felix was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Felix was a jack of all trades. He owned his own big rig. He worked in the oilfields. Later, he worked for Texas A&M Waste Water Treatment Plant. During football season, he and his wife would work the Aggie home football games as ticket takers and ushers. Later he worked for Advanced Hydrocarbon, and finally at Koppers.
Felix was known for his jokes, love of music, dancing with the love of his life, and singing karaoke.
Felix was a long-time member of St. Teresa Church in Bryan, and St. Mary’s Church in Caldwell.
He died on Sept. 19, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife, San Juanita “Janie” Romo Luna; three daughters and their spouses; one son; six granddaughters; one brother; three sisters; many sistersin- law and brothers-inlaw; and many nephews, nieces and godchildren.
