Richard Linnstaedter was born in Brenham.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, hardworking man and a friend to everyone he met.
Richard was a simple man with a heart of gold who loved his family, the outdoors and the simple joys of life.
He also proudly cheered for his beloved Texas Longhorns.
Richard dedicated 35 years of hard work and service to Halliburton, taking pride in providing for the people he loved.
Above all, his family was his greatest blessing, and he showed his love through his dedication, loyalty and willingness to always be there for those who mattered most.
Richard truly never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support or do whatever he could for someone in need. His kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of many, and he never expected anything in return.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Pivonka Linnstaedter; his children, Christopher Linnstaedter and Crystal Linnstaedter; his cherished grandson, Mitchell Betar, son of Crystal; his brother, Ronnie Linnstaedter, and sisterin- law, Charlotte; and his brother-in-law and sisterin- law, Ronnie and Lisa Pivonka, and their children, Grace Cook and her husband, Chad Cook, and Audrey Pivonka. He is also survived by his nephews, Dalton and Colton Anders.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Lee Linnstaedter Marek; his father, Quincy Linnstaedter; and his halfsister, Danna Anders.
Richard will be deeply missed, but his legacy of hard work, love and kindness will live on through his family and the many lives he touched. He was a wonderful husband, a loving dad and grandfather, and a true friend to all.
He may have been a simple man, but he left behind a lifetime of love, countless memories, and a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Hook ’em Horns, forever.
