The Lady Hornet freshman volleyball team beat Giddings in straight sets last Tuesday night 25-16, 25-21.
Leaders for Caldwell included: JaAsia Mathis with four aces and seven kills; Ashlyn Kellum with eight digs; Allie Bowers with nine assists.
Next the freshmen will travel to La Grange on Friday.
