Snook, Somerville teams fare well at meet
Snook’s Paola Arrendondo and Frida Mota placed first and second in the 123-pound weight class at the Cougar Invitational Powerlifting Meet held at Wallis Brazos last Wednesday.
Arrendondo won gold in the weight class with a total lift weight of 585 pounds -- just five pounds more than her teammate Mota who lifted a total of 580 pounds.
