Hornets can make playoffs with win over Smithville this Friday
Caldwell used Charles Sleeth as a running back in a new-look offense set and it paid off in a 26-18 road win over Brookshire Royal last Friday.
Caldwell improved to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in district play and still has a shot at a playoff berth. The Hornets will need a win over Smith-ville this Friday at home to tie the Tigers for fourth plays and earn the tie-breaker for the fourth place spot.
