The Caldwell Hornets did a good job of controlling Giddings’ inside running game but gave up some big plays in the third quarter and missed some scoring opportunities in a 21-7 road loss last Friday. Caldwell, which held the Buffaloes to 137 rushing yards and 238 total yards, held a 7-6 lead at halftime after Nicolas Johnson’s one-yard run in the second quarter. Giddings had opened the scoring…
