Celebrates her highest finish there
Doris Hieden of Caldwell recently placed fourth in the world in the National Horseshoe Pitching Association’s 2019 Tournament in Wichita Falls.
Competing in the women’s division, Hieden, a five-time state champion, finished behind Lindsay Hodgins of British Columbia, 14 wins and two losses, first place; Marlene Ray of Tennessee, 13-3, second; and Joan Elmore of Tennessee, 12-3, third.
