The Caldwell Hornets are not drawing a lot of attention in pre-season football predictions. And the Hornets hope that will work to their advantage. Coming off a 3-7 year in 2018 with four offensive and four defensive starters returning, the Hornets are generally rated fifth in the six-team, Division II District 12-4A behind Giddings, Bellville, La Grange and Smithville.
