The Lady Hornet basketball team fell to Smithville 49-46 at home Friday night in a heartbreaker district game. Caldwell was leading at halftime 28-23 after a strong second quarter, scoring 16 points to take the five-point lead into the locker room. The Lady Tigers then tied the score at 36-36 by the end of the third quarter before pulling away in the fourth for the three-point win. Caldwell…
