The Snook Bluejays, after coming close in recent weeks, broke through with a win last Friday, defeating Milano 22-7 on the road.
Winning the district opener brought the Bluejays to 1-3 overall and kept their playoff hopes alive.
The outcome was never in doubt as Snook built leads of 14-0 in the second quarter and 22-0 in the third in a strong defensive effort.
