The Somerville Yeguas kept it close for much of the game, but Burton finally pulled away for a 34-14 win last Friday in Somerville.
The loss dropped Somerville to 2-7 overall and winless in district play, knocking them out of a playoff spot.
But the Yeguas played the Panthers tough, intercepting two passes and forcing a fumble and trailing just 20-14 late in the third quarter.
