Somerville’s Kyra Watson, Herschel Conway and Verkobe Woodberry placed first in their weight classes at the Swamp Strength Quad 2.0 Powerlifting Meet at Altair Rice last week.
Watson won gold in the girls’ 259+-weight class with a total lift of 770 pounds -- 270 pounds in the squat, 155 pounds in the bench press and 315 pounds in the dead lift.
