    Local rescues Haven Animal Rescue of Texas (HART) and Project SNIP represented Burleson County at the National Conference of the Best Friends Animal Society in Palm Springs, California, the weekend of Feb. 20-22.

    Steve McCoy, Danielle Mikulin and Anastasia Tucker represented HART, while Tucker and Cindy McCoy attended on behalf of Project SNIP.
