The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) issued no new oil well drilling permits in Burleson County in January.
The RRC report is for newly approved permits in the county, not for drill sites which were previously permitted.
Production in the county in December 2024 included 68,640 barrels of oil, 140,788 Mcf of casing head gas, 21,791 Mcf of gas well gas and 590 barrels of condensate.
