Someone poisoned a woman’s two dogs on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the 500 block of Elm Lane in Deer Forrest Subdivision off F.M. 1361.
Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the case as a second degree felony cruelty to animals case, said Burleson County Chief Deputy Bill Rios.
The woman found the dogs dead in her yard and contacted the sheriff’s office at 8:10 a.m., he said.
