Heritage Week starts March 22; highlights local jobs past, present
The Burleson County Historical Commission (BCHC) is celebrating Burleson County Heritage Week this Monday, March 24.
The date is the 179th “birthday” of the county, which was created out of Milam and Washington counties on March 24, 1846.
In celebration, birthday cake will be served on the first floor of the courthouse from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
