Dump truck driver injured in rollover off SH36

A West Columbia man was seriously injured on Friday afternoon, June 6, in a rollover dump truck accident off State Highway 36 South, just north of Lyons, that left him initially pinned inside the cab until firefighters pulled him free.

RRC issues two new oil, gas permits in April

The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) issued two new oil well drilling permits in Burleson County in April.The RRC report is for newly approved permits in the county, not for drill sites which were previously permitted.The April permits were for: * GRW 1, located 8.
