SPJST hosted its annual State Youth Showcase on Friday and Saturday, July 26-27, at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center in Temple.Youth from across Texas competed in various contests, showcasing their talents and achievements.

Snook ISD changes absence policy for 2024-2025

Snook ISD students who miss school without a doctor’s note will be given an unexcused absence, even with a parent note.This new policy is included in the 20242025 student handbook which will be present to all students in Snook ISD.

Snook EEA to hold program Aug. 19

THE BURLESON COUNTY HISTORICAL Society held workdays on Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 3, to reink the engraved bricks in the “Heritage Brick Path” at the Kraitchar House. Many of the bricks are over 20 years old and the ink has faded.
