Caldwell opens interim City Hall

The new interim Caldwell City Hall at the old Truist Bank Building at 114 Echols St., opened to the public on Monday, May 20, and a grand opening is planned for next month or early J uly.Caldwell residents are urged to come to the new location for any city-related business.

County to graduate 192 seniors in 2024

Burleson County high schools will graduate 192 seniors in the Class of 2024, with ceremonies in Snook and Caldwell this Friday, May 24, and Somerville this Saturday, May 25.Snook High School’s top graduates are Alexis Macik, valedictorian, and Mykia Munson, salutatorian.

Two injured in crash at F.M. 50, F.M. 60

A Caldwell woman and a Sherman woman were injured on Friday, May 17, in a two-car accident at the F.M. 50 and F.M. 60 intersection, and both were transported by ambulance to a Bryan hospital.The accident occurred at about 5 p.m.
