Area man hurt in pickup-tractor trailer rig wreck

A College Station man was injured on Tuesday morning, May 14, in a collision involving his pickup and the rear of a truck-tractor trailer rig on State Highway 21 West near County Road 103.The accident occurred at 5:50 a.m.

Cash stolen from woman’s dresser

An 84-year-old woman reported $301 in cash stolen from her dresser drawer on Monday, May 13, at her home on Private Road 2002, and the case is being investigated as a felony burglary.

Chain saw stolen on F.M. 3058

Someone stole a Stihl chain saw from a shed on F.M. 3058, and Burleson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating.The owner reported the missing Stihl MS-250 chain saw on Monday, May 13, and a deputy responded to the scene to investigate, said Burleson County Chief Deputy Bill Rios.

Memorial Day ceremony planned
